Chevy Mud truck

Im Cindi an 18 year old girl trying to start a Chevy project. I really want my own truck since none of the boys will let me play in the mud with their trucks. I chose a chevy cause my dad has a couple 350 motors, and a turbo 400 transmission. Any ideas, suggestions, help would be loveddd! I dont know alot about trucks but im hoping with this project ill get more knowledge.

Do you have a budget at all? Assuming one of those 350's is running, you could get a roughed up truck on Craigslist for pretty cheap and then fix it up. Just go to CL for your area and then either browse through the "cars+trucks" section or do searches for things like "mud" or "4x4" and it will usually turn up some good stuff. Another idea is to check your local classifieds and see if you can get anything for a good deal or maybe even the local junk yards for a good body/frame that you can throw that engine/tranny into.

That would be awesome, probably wouldn't be street legal though.

Yeah i know. Lucky me my dad is alllll about me getting a truck. I didnt think he would be. He asked if i was planning to use it as my dd and i was like "hell no. Its going to be illegal to drive on the streets." And he said we'd have to get a trailer. so far i have $700.

My dad just informed me one of his friends has a chevy blazer full size. IM not sure on the year, or condition. All he said was his friend has a blazer for 1000. ill find out tomorrow on some more details.

There are lots of parts easily available for blazers, hope its a good one!
